The neckline traced in concentric beading, cobalt deepening into amber, worn close to the throat like something retrieved from the deep. The sleeves sheer, the body fluid, the whole thing adrift. The dress is constructed in steel blue silk, the body fluid and long, the sleeves and overlay in sheer embroidered mesh alive with silver sequin and blush botanical motifs. The neckline is hand-beaded in concentric arcs, cobalt at the outer edge deepening into amber at the centre, each bead placed with the patience of something made to last. The sheer sleeves extend to the wrist, the embroidery continuing through to the cuff. A piece that holds its depth the longer you look at it.
